Maria KeaneDaniel Bachmann’s strong performances for Watford and the national team have obviously drawn the attention of traditional clubs to the Austrian.
Like the British newspaper Sun reported, Neo Premier League club Watford has rejected a 17 million euro offer from Arsenal FC for Daniel Bachmann.
The Gunners are known to be looking for a new goalkeeper who can claim Bernd Leno for the one-bodied. Most recently, Arsenal have been closely linked to Sheffield’s Aaron Ramsdale.
In addition to Arsenal, Ajax Amsterdam should also show interest in Bachmann – the Dutch are looking for a successor to Andre Onana, who is about to leave Amsterdam.
Bachmann showed excellent performances for Watford in the championship last season and helped his club to move up to the Premier League. The 27-year-old also showed strong reflexes on the line at the European Championships.
