Tottenham signs Victor Wanyama

Tottenham Hotspur F.C. have completed an £11million signing of Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama on a five-year deal.

This transfer will see Victor Wanyama reunited with his former boss Mauricio Pochettino who is now the Manager of Tottenham Hotspur. Pochettino managed the 24-year-old Kenya captain during his spell as Southampton manager.

Victor Wanyama arrived at St Mary’s from Celtic for £12.5million in 2013 and scored four goals in 85 Premier League games.

He asked to leave last summer after interest from Spurs but stayed, helping Southampton to a sixth-place finish.
