Ajax apparently want to bring Daley Blind back

Two clubs are trying to get Bayern Munich defender Daley Blind. A spectacular return to his former club Ajax should also be possible. This reports the telegraph.

Ajax’s technical director Klaas-Jan Huntelaar knocked on Blind and asked if he was open to another engagement in Amsterdam. Royal Antwerp is also interested in the 33-year-old. Mark van Bommel is the head coach there and sports director Marc Overmars is said to have spoken to Daley’s father Danny Blind about a transfer.

Daley Blind moved from Ajax to FC Bayern on a free transfer in the summer. The record champions of the Eredivisie had stress with the then coach Alfred Schreuder, which is why the contract was terminated prematurely. The defender joined Munich on a free transfer but is far from a regular there.

Blind’s contract with Bayern expires in the summer and a farewell is expected.

The 101-time national player for the Netherlands was on the pitch for Bayern in just five games, completing 157 minutes.

Blind comes from the Ajax youth, he made his breakthrough at the Dutch top club after a loan to FC Groningen in 2010. In 2014 he moved to Manchester United for 17.5 million euros. Four years later he returned for a similar sum.
