CEO Oliver Kahn is not satisfied with the start of the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich’s star-studded offensive. “It doesn’t worry me, it annoys me! It annoys me when we’re not top of the table,” said the Bayern boss ahead of the Champions League game at Inter Milan DAZN about third place after five games.
Kahn sees the recent problems in attack in the draws against Gladbach and Union Berlin (each 1-1) as the reason for the one point behind leaders SC Freiburg. “We played very well, but we’re not very efficient. We have to work on that, think about it and be more concentrated overall in the end,” he emphasized and demanded: “Now we need results!”
This also applies to the premier class. “That’s the benchmark for us – for Bayern Munich, the club, the team. We want to try to win the Champions League every season,” said the 53-year-old.
