FC Bayern: Telephone exchange between Tuchel and Hoeneß?

Thomas Tuchel is apparently in regular telephone contact with Honorary President Uli Hoeneß. A report by sky according to the 71-year-old had campaigned for the change of coach from Julian Nagelsmann to Tuchel. At his inaugural press conference, Tuchel also explicitly thanked Hoeneß for his trust.

Most recently, Hoeneß showed a high profile presence at FC Bayern: After the second leg against Manchester City, he visited the dressing room and on Wednesday he appeared gesticulating during a session at the training ground on Säbener Straße.

Hoeneß is also closely involved in transfer decisions. When playing poker around Sadio Mané last summer, the honorary president knew immediately. According to reports, Hoeneß is currently committed to signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
