Arsenal are probably watching Ryan Gravenberch

Arsenal have reportedly set their eyes on Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. How skyReporter Florian Plettenberg reports that the Londoners are currently observing the situation of the 20-year-old at FCB very closely.

According to Plettenberg, the decision about a possible farewell to Gravenberch is now also due to how Bayern’s new coach Thomas Tuchel sees the Dutchman. Negotiations between Arsenal and the player side have not yet taken place.

Under Tuchel’s predecessor Julian Nagelsmann, Gravenberch hardly got a chance in his first year at FCB. So far he has only been in Bayern’s starting line-up four times across all competitions, and he has made a total of 26 mostly short appearances.

Despite the contract until 2027, a change next summer cannot be ruled out. Liverpool FC in particular was recently associated with Gravenberch.

However, Gravenberch would also have great competition at Arsenal. Finally, Gunners coach Mikel Arteta has players like Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Jorginho and Granit Xhaka available in midfield.

Gravenberch, who joined Bayern from Ajax for €18.5m last summer, could fit Arsenal’s style of play well with his outstanding technical skills.
