According to media reports, Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen has rejected an offer from the Premier League for its coveted offensive player Moussa Diaby (24).
Accordingly, Aston Villa submitted an offer of 35 to 45 million euros. The English press first reported, before kicker and Sky also took up the topic on Thursday evening.
Loud table football-Information is said to have been Aston Villa’s first offer for a transfer fee of less than 30 million euros – too little for the German Europa League starter, Bayer’s expectations should be at least twice as much for Diaby. The negotiations therefore continued.
According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi club Al-Nasr have also expressed an interest in the France international.
However, the club has been placed on a transfer ban for the time being “due to outstanding debts”, as the world association FIFA confirmed on Thursday in response to a request from SID.
