Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is said to have promised runners-up

Marcel Sabitzer is said to be leaving FC Bayern for good after being loaned to Manchester United. He probably goes to BVB. The agreement between the clubs is still pending.

Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich has allegedly made a commitment to Borussia Dortmund. That reports the Picture. Accordingly, the Austrian agreed to the transfer to BVB despite offers from Italy and England.

Sabitzer was loaned to Manchester United in the second half of last season. However, the Red Devils decided against a permanent commitment of the midfielder, so he had to return to Bayern.

The 29-year-old was given poor chances of being used regularly by coach Thomas Tuchel, as the Munich headquarters are well staffed with players like Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Ryan Gravenberch and Konrad Laimer. In addition, Bayern are looking for a defensive clearer. Bayern should demand around 15 million euros for Sabitzer.

Sabitzer moved from Rapid Vienna to RB Leipzig in 2014. He played there until 2021, when FC Bayern brought him to Munich for 15 million euros. The 71-time Austria international made only seven starts in the first half of the season last season in the Bundesliga. He was then loaned out to Manchester United, where he made 11 appearances in the Premier League.
