The fans are subject to the 2G Plus rule (vaccinated or recovered and additionally tested or boosted) and must wear an FFP2 mask. An alcohol ban also applies.
This is the result of Tuesday’s cabinet meeting. In the past few months, no fans were allowed in the arenas in Bavaria. The head of the Bavarian State Chancellery, Florian Herrmann, explained: “This is a moderate approach.”
The Bundesliga clubs Bayern Munich and FC Augsburg, among others, can therefore look forward to the fans returning.
