Benjamin Pavard is committed to FCB

National player Benjamin Pavard from the German record champions Bayern Munich has initially ended speculation about a premature farewell.

“I never said I wanted to leave. I know very well that I’m in a very big club where everything is excellent. I feel very comfortable here, I like the club and the fans and I hope that we will still achieve great things this season,” said the Frenchman sports1.

Pavard’s contract runs until 2024. Most recently, it was said again and again that the defender was looking for a new challenge. In January there was an offer from Inter Milan.

But, according to Pavard, he’s not “one who leaves the ship in the middle of the journey. My goal was definitely to stay at Bayern. I’m determined to give everything for the club and the team and I still want to with Bayern win as many titles as possible.”

Coach Julian Nagelsmann described the 2018 world champion as “very open. If you want to talk to him and knock on his door, he’s always there for you. The kind of football he wants to play is exactly that, which I also like. And I learn from him every day how I can improve,” said the 26-year-old.
