Besiktas Istanbul is apparently interested in signing Marcel Sabitzer from FC Bayern Munich. This is reported by the Turkish newspaper fanaticism – and speculates about the first talks in the coming week.
Due to a lack of playing time in Munich, Sabitzer went on loan to Manchester United in the winter. After an appealing first game, the 29-year-old Austrian injured his meniscus and missed the end of the season.
On Friday, the club announced Sabitzer’s farewell. United coach Erik ten Hag was basically happy with him, but the transfer priorities lie elsewhere.
According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, FC Bayern would sell Sabitzer for a transfer fee of 15 to 17 million euros. In Munich he is still under contract until 2025, the competitive situation in the midfield has intensified again with the signing of Konrad Laimer.
