Borussia Mönchengladbach is apparently fishing for Grant-Leon Ranos from Bayern Munich

Borussia Mönchengladbach has apparently secured the services of regional league striker Grant-Leon Ranos from FC Bayern. This is reported by several media on Sunday.

According to information from SPOX and GOAL, it was already clear last week that Grant-Leon Ranos will leave FC Bayern in the summer. The only thing left to be decided was where the Bayern amateur goalscorer would go. Now apparently Borussia Mönchengladbach has come to an agreement with the striker.

This is reported by both table football as well as the Rheinische Post. The move hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but the player could be unveiled as early as next week.

Ranos has been with FC Bayern since the under-16s and has scored 20 goals in 34 games in the Regionalliga Bayern this season – good enough for fourth place in the top scorer list there. The 19-year-old can play both in the middle and on the wings in attack.

The Armenian also made his debut for his country’s national team in March, scoring two goals in the 2-2 draw against Cyprus.

After Hertha talent Lukas Ullrich and the permanent signing of Julian Weigl (SL Benfica), Ranos is probably the third new signing for the foals and could well play a role in the Bundesliga next season. With Marcus Thuram and Lars Stindl, Borussia will lose two regulars in the offensive area.
