Borussia Mönchengladbach is said to be thinking about loaning BVB star Giovanni Reyna

Borussia Mönchengladbach is said to be dealing with a possible commitment from Borussia Dortmund’s offensive player Giovanni Reyna.

As the Rheinische Post reported, Gladbach’s managers are currently considering possibly loaning Reyna from BVB. So far, however, nothing concrete has emerged.

Reyna is still under contract in Dortmund until 2025, but was hardly ever called up in the starting XI last season. He made a total of 30 competitive appearances, mostly off the bench, scoring seven goals and four assists.

In order to play more, a loan could actually be interesting for the 20-year-old American.

Reyna moved to Dortmund from New York City FC in 2019. So far he has made 107 appearances for BVB’s first team (17 goals, 16 assists).
