BVB keeper Kobel does not go to the national team: injury?

Goalkeeper Gregor Kobel from cup winner Borussia Dortmund cannot travel to the Swiss national soccer team. As the association announced on Monday, the 23-year-old has a tendon insertion irritation in his knee.

BVB has not yet commented on the injury, so a possible downtime is not known.

David von Ballmoos from Young Boys Bern moves up into the Swiss squad.

The Swiss will meet Northern Ireland in the World Cup qualification on Saturday in Geneva (8.45 p.m.).
