Borussia Dortmund has loaned the Belgian national player Thorgan Hazard, who has only been used sporadically. As announced by BVB, the 29-year-old winger is moving to PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands for third place in the table until the summer. Hazard still has a contract with the black and yellow until 2024.
The player approached the club “with the desire to be loaned to a club where he plays regularly,” said BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl. Hazard, who has only played the full distance once this season, said: “This loan is the best solution for everyone at the moment. Over the next five months, I’ll be able to get a high level of match practice at a club that’s very ambitious collect.”
Hazard came to BVB from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2019 and made 122 appearances in all competitions for Westphalia (18 goals). In 2021 he won the DFB Cup with Dortmund.
