Borussia Dortmund is apparently in a duel with Chelsea for Mikayil Faye. Athletic trainer Marcelo Martins should support Edin Terzic. Here you can find news and rumors about BVB.
BVB, rumour: duel with Chelsea for Senegal talent
Borussia Dortmund are interested in 18-year-old Mikayil Faye from Croatian second division club NK Kustosija. This is reported by the English daily newspaper Daily Mail.
Accordingly, Borussia have become aware of the U-national player from Senegal, who can be used in a variety of ways with a strong left foot in the defensive line. His resolute defense and occasional rushing has earned him the nickname “Monster,” according to the report.
He was reportedly approached by two French top-flight clubs, Marseille and Reims, last year, but Faye chose to stay in Croatia and develop further.
Now, in addition to BVB, Chelsea FC is said to have entered the race for the defender. Kustojisa reportedly expects one of those two clubs to make an initial bid for the teenager later this month.
BVB, rumour: Ex-Bayern athletic trainer is coming to BVB from Turkey
Marcelo Martins, athletic trainer of the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor, coached by Nuri Sahin, changes according to information from Radyo Sport to Borussia Dortmund.
Martins is no stranger to Germany: more than ten years ago he worked at FC Bayern Munich and was responsible for the fitness of the Bayern players under coaches Louis van Gaal and Jupp Heynckes at the record champions.
BVB, News: Schulz consultant wants to separate this summer
According to his advisor Roger Wittmann, Nico Schulz is to leave Borussia Dortmund in the coming transfer period. “The best thing would be to separate properly in the summer,” said Wittmann Ruhr news.
The left-back’s contract runs until 2024, but he hasn’t played a role for Dortmund for a long time. In the past season, under coach Edin Terzic, he was not even in the black and yellow squad.
According to the report, however, Schulz receives an annual salary of around five million euros from BVB, which makes a transfer difficult, since no club should be willing to even come close to taking over this salary. That’s why, despite the willingness on both sides to go their separate ways, Schulz could end up spending another season in Dortmund.
