BVB, News: Sammer surprises with Bellingham statement
BVB advisor Matthias Sammer has commented on the ongoing rumors about an impending move from Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid. “I can’t say anything about that yet, nothing is available yet. There are no talks. But there are always certain considerations,” said Sammer in his capacity as an expert on Amazon Prime Video.
At the same time, the 55-year-old believes a move to the Madrilenians would not hurt the young Englishman. “He would at least get a better education than in Dortmund. Because of course a 19-year-old sometimes has a few nonsense off the field and sometimes on the field too, which is completely normal for his development. I think that you have to influence it,” explained the BVB consultant.
At the same time, the calmer environment and the lower pressure would speak in favor of staying in Dortmund. “If he stays in Dortmund, he will continue to mature there. When he comes to a club like this, he has to adapt faster and more thoroughly. It’s up to him to decide whether he wants to.”
BVB, rumor: Dortmund hopes for Hummels extension
Borussia Dortmund is apparently hoping for Mats Hummels’ contract extension beyond the summer. This is from a report by WAZ out.
Accordingly, the 34-year-old would have three options: a contract extension with BVB, a move abroad and the end of his career.
Those responsible for the black and yellow would value Hummels above all for his routine and reliability, which is why BVB would like to continue working together.
Although the central defender mostly had to be content with his role as number three behind seeded Nico Schlotterbeck and Niklas Süle this season, Hummels was always there when the need arose.
BVB, News: Forsberg promises support against Bayern
RB Leipzig’s playmaker Emil Forsberg has promised Borussia Dortmund to help in the Bundesliga title fight. “I want to beat Bayern so we can get into the Champions League,” said the Swede sports picture: “Dortmund would have to do the rest themselves. If that’s the case, BVB deserves it.”
On the 33rd match day, the Leipzig team will play at table leaders FC Bayern. Three games before the end of the season, the record champions from Munich (65) are just one point ahead of Dortmund (64). RB Leipzig (57) is fighting for third place in the Champions League again.
BVB, rumor: Dortmund hot on France talent
