Borussia Dortmund has published its figures for the third quarter of the 2022/23 season (January 1 to March 31, 2023) – and they have improved significantly compared to the previous year. BVB, News: Dortmund is again in the red

According to a press release from the club, BVB generated sales of 102.5 million euros between January 1st and March 31st, 2023. In the previous year it was only 64.4 million euros in the same period.

However, the Dortmund team did not move into the green again: the group result is negative by 15.5 million euros, most recently it was even 26.6 million euros minus.

Where does this improvement come from? Even if it feels like a long time ago, at the beginning of 2022 the stadiums often had to remain empty or could only be partially filled.
