BVB, rumor: Hummels has offers from abroad
Mats Hummels apparently has lucrative offers from abroad. As the Picture-Zeitung reports that clubs from Italy and Spain have expressed interest in the 34-year-old defender, without naming any specifics.
Hummels is still under contract with BVB until the end of June 2023, after which he would be available on a free transfer. Dortmund is said to have made him an offer for another year of contract.
The talks have the Picture according to positive signals from Hummels, but he still hesitates. Sports director Sebastian Kehl, however, is flirting with an early decision.
The central defender has been alternating between the bench and the starting XI this season. Most recently, however, he was on the pitch six times from the start. In total, Hummels made 36 competitive appearances in 2022/23, in which he scored one goal.
BVB, rumour: Dortmund in talks with Álvarez
The BVB is a report from Sky Sports e.gFollow in first talks with Edson Álvarez from Ajax Amsterdam. The midfielder is apparently a candidate at Dortmund to succeed Jude Bellingham, who is very likely to leave the club in the summer.
During the talks, Álvarez is said to have expressed his willingness to move to BVB. The Dortmund bosses around Sebastian Kehl and Hans-Joachim Watzke first want to concentrate on the upcoming title fight and only then clarify further details.
Loud sky the black and yellow would have to put around 50 million euros on the table for the Mexican. He still has a contract with Amsterdam until 2025.
FC Bayern was also apparently involved in poker, but has since withdrawn.
BVB, rumour: Brahim Díaz not part of the Bellingham deal
Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Díaz, on loan to AC Milan until the end of the season, is unlikely to be part of a deal between Los Blancos and Borussia Dortmund to transfer Jude Bellingham. This is reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Most recently, Spanish media reported that the attacking midfielder should have switched from Madrid to Dortmund in exchange for Bellingham. Real planned to push the fee for the young Englishman.
Instead of an exchange deal, the Madrilenians are now apparently offering over 100 million euros for Bellingham. On a personal level, an agreement has already been reached with the player.
BVB, News: Moukoko complains about early hype about his person
Youssoufa Moukoko was burdened by the early hype surrounding him. “The expectations were far too high. When we were younger, people always read that Moukoko scored three or four goals again. But today that doesn’t count anymore,” said the youngster from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund Ruhr news.
The leap into professional football was a big challenge for Moukoko. “This transition to professional football was very difficult. I think I was ready for football, but physically I wasn’t ready at the age of 16,” said the 18-year-old, adding: “First I had to learn how to play in the Bundesliga successfully. I couldn’t run, dribble and shoot from the halfway line. I have to be able to assert myself in all game situations and be there in the penalty area when the lads create chances.”
Moukoko has since broken a number of records. Among other things, at the age of 16 years and one day he was the youngest Bundesliga debutant, at 16 years and 28 days he also became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the league. He always wants to break new and more records, says the young national player: “That’s what records are for. That motivates me. I want to be the best I can be.”
Moukoko can still become a champion with BVB. “It’s about time, everyone’s hungry,” said the striker, who is currently stuck as a substitute.
