Six players are coming back compared to the last league game against 1. FC Köln (6: 1): goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, Salih Özcan and Julian Brandt are fit again, Emre Can was yellow-banned against Köln and is there.
Youssoufa Moukoko and Karim Adeyemi are also back in the squad after surviving injuries, but according to coach Edin Terzic they are still a bit behind in training: “We have to see if they can play.”
The use of central defender Nico Schlotterbeck, who had returned from the national team ailing, is still questionable. Things will also get tight for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (after a shoulder injury). Gio Reyna and Thomas Meunier, on the other hand, are sure to be out.
