Contusion of Kunze’s spine and shoulder

Midfielder Fabian Kunze from the Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld bruised his spine and shoulder in the game against Bayern Munich (0:3). Arminia announced this on Easter Monday. The East Westphalians did not announce a comeback date.

After an elbow hit in the neck and head by Bayern defender Tanguy Nianzou, the 23-year-old required lengthy treatment. The midfielder then left the field on a stretcher and wearing a neck brace, and was examined in a hospital in the evening.

After the serious head injuries of Fabian Klos and Cedric Brunner, it is Bielefeld’s third bad news in three games. Arminia meets 1. FC Köln next Saturday (3.30 p.m.).
