Curious airport performance by Marco Neppe

FC Bayern’s technical director, Marco Neppe, drove to Munich Airport with the team on Monday. However, the 37-year-old decided on the spot not to travel to Asia after all. That reports the Picture.

Accordingly, Neppe arrived at the airport with the team bus at 3:09 p.m. With headphones on the phone but no luggage, he made his way to the terminal, but turned around there.

He then got back on the team bus. The entourage took off for Tokyo at 4:37 p.m., Neppe drove back to the training ground alone.

Together with CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, Neppe is currently in charge of the planned signing of target striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

It had already been announced that Dreesen would not be traveling to Asia. Another meeting between the two and Tottenham President Daniel Levy is set to take place later this week.
