Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig is apparently being discussed as a newcomer

FC Bayern is dealing with a transfer of the Spanish national player Dani Olmo. This is reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. He writes that in addition to FC Barcelona, which has long been considered interested, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also following the situation of the RB Leipzig offensive player very closely.

Olmo is under contract with RB until 2024. Previous attempts by the Saxons to extend the contract with the Spaniard have failed. If this stays the case, a sale next summer is likely. It would be the last chance for RB to collect a high transfer fee for the 25-year-old. According to Romano, Olmo will then be “a bargain” in relation to that.

FC Bayern was already interested in the World Cup participant in the past and wanted to sign him shortly before his transfer to Leipzig. A lot could happen in the offensive of the Bundesliga leaders for the coming season. The future of Sadio Mané and Serge Gnabry is uncertain after the last few weeks. The flexible Olmo could replace one of them.

A few days ago, Bayern’s Bundesliga rival Borussia Dortmund was also traded as an interested party in the right foot.

Olmo played in FC Barcelona youth squad from 2007 to 2014 before deciding to join Dinamo Zagreb. In January 2020, Leipzig signed him for a fee of 29 million euros.

This season, Olmo made 28 appearances for RB, contributing 5 goals and 9 assists. At the World Cup in Qatar he was in all four games of the Spanish national team in the starting lineup and scored two points.
