Denis Zakaria is moving from Gladbach to Juventus

Denis Zakaria is leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach this winter. According to information from SPOX and GOAL, the Gladbachers have agreed with Juventus on a transfer of the Swiss.

Zakaria is expected in Turin on Sunday to complete the medical check. The 25-year-old Swiss national player should sign a contract with the old lady until 2026.

According to information from SPOX and GOAL, the Bianconeri Gladbach had submitted an offer of six to seven million euros for the Swiss player. An official confirmation of the deal by the clubs was initially pending.

Zakaria’s contract in Gladbach only ran until the end of the season. During the winter break, the Foals announced that the midfielder would not sign a new contract. Zakaria was subsequently linked with a number of top clubs, including at times Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Juve finally won the race at Zakaria, who switched from Young Boys Bern to Borussia in 2017 for twelve million euros.

Juve sign Vlahovic

Juventus had previously secured the services of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic for a fee of more than 70 million euros.

Gladbach is currently in a sporting crisis in the Bundesliga. In the past nine games, Borussia have suffered seven defeats. On Friday, long-time sports director Max Eberl also announced his retirement for health reasons.
