Bayern Munich only has to do without defender Dayot Upamecano in the top Bundesliga game against Union Berlin on Sunday (5.30 p.m.).
The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has suspended the French national player for one match after his red card in the Bundesliga game at Borussia Mönchengladbach (2: 3) because of unsportsmanlike conduct.
Upamecano was sent off last Saturday in the 8th minute by referee Tobias Welz (Wiesbaden) after an emergency brake on Alassane Plea.
Coach Julian Nagelsmann had complained massively about the dismissal and had become abusive to the referee team in the dressing room (“softened pack”). The coach is also threatened with a ban.
