The 23-year-old attracted interest from Serie A and the German Bundesliga, specific clubs were not named, but discussions are already being held.
Friedl switched from the Kufstein youth to the FC Bayern youth team in the summer of 2008. In the summer of 2019, the three-time ÖFB team player moved to Werder Bremen for 3.5 million euros.
