After Werder Bremen’s relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga, ÖFB legionnaire Marco Friedl could leave the Weser. Italy and the German Bundesliga are considered possible destinations.

Again Kicker reported, Marco Friedl could leave Werder Bremen. Accordingly, Werder is dependent on transfer income.

The 23-year-old attracted interest from Serie A and the German Bundesliga, specific clubs were not named, but discussions are already being held.

Friedl switched from the Kufstein youth to the FC Bayern youth team in the summer of 2008. In the summer of 2019, the three-time ÖFB team player moved to Werder Bremen for 3.5 million euros.
