Donyell Malen released by PSV Eindhoven to join Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund’s dream player Donyell Malen has been released from his club PSV Eindhoven to take care of his upcoming move. But a possible transfer to BVB is a long time coming.

“We are being kept up to date by their agent Mino Raiola. They know what we want and we have given these players space to speak to interested clubs. If an agreement is reached, the respective club will report back to us,” confirmed Eindhoven’s Technical Director John de Jong with a view of Malen and Denzel Dumfries, who is being courted by FC Bayern, opposite “Voetbal International.”

According to “Sky”, those in charge of Dortmund and the painting side have already agreed on a change. However, BVB have not yet negotiated with Eindhoven.

The transfer fee that the Westphalians are willing to pay or that Eindhoven at least wants to have for the 22-year-old Malen should be between 25 and 30 million euros.

As it is said in a recent “Sport Bild” report, there has long been an agreement between BVB and the player about a change. Malen wants to sign a long-term contract with Dortmund and with the Black and Yellows, they say.

BVB will move into its training camp from July 23rd

There is a tendency, so it is speculated, that BVB will accommodate the other transfer party from Eindhoven a little more than jeopardize the change in its entirety. Means: The PSV will probably get their desired price for painting.

Borussia Dortmund has long been in team training under the new head coach Marco Rose and is preparing more and more meticulously for the upcoming season. Until July 23, when BVB moves into its nine-day training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, the coach wants to have his squad as close as possible.

One week after the training camp, Dortmund will start the away game at SV Wehen Wiesbaden (August 7th from 8:45 p.m.) in the DFB Cup and thus in the new competitive season.
