After his failed move to Borussia Dortmund, Edson Álvarez is apparently back in the focus of FC Bayern Munich. That reports the Picture.
Weeks ago, there was speculation about Munich’s interest in the 25-year-old midfielder from Ajax Amsterdam before everything pointed to a move to BVB. This failed last week, at least for the time being, due to Ajax’s transfer demands of 35 to 40 million euros.
That’s why FC Bayern is said to have switched back to poker. The Munich are looking for a defensive six. Pierre Emile Höjbjerg, Sofyan Amrabat and Declan Rice, who is now set to join Arsenal from West Ham United, have also been considered candidates in recent weeks. The search for a new centre-forward has top priority at FC Bayern.
