The upcoming transfer from PSG jewel Junior Dina Ebimbe to Eintracht Frankfurt was apparently on the brink. As the picturenewspaper reported that the 21-year-old’s obligatory medical check-up revealed problems on the back of his left knee.
Some doctors have expressed concerns about a transfer, but other doctors are said to have been less concerned. In the end, it is said, those responsible at Hessen decided in favor of transferring the midfielder.
Ebimbe should initially be loaned out for a year, after which different reports from the picture and from sky according to a purchase option or purchase obligation of around six million euros. Noisy sports1 sporting director Markus Krösche managed to negotiate PSG down from the original demand of ten million euros.
Ebimbe made ten, mostly short, league appearances in the star ensemble of Paris Saint-Germain last season. In Frankfurt he should relieve Sebastian Rode in the midfield center, who is apparently no longer expected to handle the burden of three competitions. Ebimbe is considered the absolute dream player of Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner.
