Eintracht Frankfurt has to do without its most important endurance test before the start of the season. The test match against Ajax Amsterdam planned for Saturday was canceled “for safety reasons” due to numerous corona cases at the Dutch champions.
Instead, the winner of the Europa League will complete a training session at the planned venue in Grödig/Austria.
In the last test, the SBU meets the southwest regional league team Astoria Walldorf on Wednesday. The first competitive game is on August 1st in the DFB-Pokal at second division promoted 1. FC Magdeburg. Four days later, the start of the Bundesliga against Bayern Munich is waiting.
