Eintracht Frankfurt’s European Cup hero Filip Kostic is about to move to Juventus.
As the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday, the 29-year-old Serb will no longer travel to the Supercup duel against Champions League winners Real Madrid in Helsinki on Wednesday (9 p.m. live on DAZN). “The winger is in final talks with a new club,” Eintracht tweeted.
Kostic had been associated with Juventus for weeks, and the transfer ideas of both clubs apparently did not match for a long time. Now reported sky from a fee that could be 17 to 18 million euros.
According to the picture, an agreement has already been reached with the old lady. Kostic still has a contract until 2023.
In a club statement, sports director Markus Krösche said about the situation: “We have always said that we will not put any obstacles in his way with an offer that is good for all sides and that we are ready to talk. We are currently in promising talks with another club and it there is a solution.”
