Maria KeaneCoach Oliver Glasner has firmly defended himself against the sharp criticism of Eintracht Frankfurt’s performance in the Bundesliga. “We tried to win every game. To assume that we’re giving away games is silly. Such allegations annoy me a lot,” said the Austrian, referring to the relevant media reports.
He found such allegations “disrespectful,” he said. At the end of the season on Saturday (3.30 p.m.) in the Rhein-Main duel against FSV Mainz 05, his team will “do everything to win this game and make the dress rehearsal positive”.
With a view to the Europa League final against Glasgow Rangers, only captain Sebastian Rode will be given some rest due to his “medical history” and will only play one half.
Otherwise, no major rotation is planned. Danny da Costa is missing due to problems with his pubic bone, but could be back on Wednesday (9 p.m. / RTL).
