Eintracht Frankfurt is likely to make an offer for PSG striker Hugo Ekitiké

We have had good experiences with young French attackers on the Main. Is Hugo Ekitiké coming too?

Eintracht Frankfurt is specifically trying to sign striker Hugo Ekitiké (PSG). that writes L’Equipe. According to the report, SGE sports director Markus Krösche was recently in Paris and made an offer to the French champions to loan the 20-year-old.

Randal Kolo Muani is in great demand at Eintracht, including at Bayern Munich. In principle, he should stay, but with a high offer, the Frankfurt club bosses could also become weak. Ekitiké would be a possible replacement for the Vice World Champion.

He is considered a standout talent in France but has not featured regularly in his first season at Paris Saint-Germain. Nevertheless, it is said that he wants to assert himself in the star ensemble and is not striving for a transfer.

In addition to Ekitiké, Eintracht are also said to have kept an eye on young central defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu. Last week it was said that the DFB Cup finalist had made an offer to PSG for the 17-year-old defender.

Ekitiké comes from the youth of Stade Reims. There he made his breakthrough after a loan to Vejle BK in Denmark in 2021. PSG signed him on loan last summer. The Ligue 1 leaders have a €35m purchase option after this season. It will become mandatory if the club finishes the season in at least second place – after which it currently looks difficult given the eight-point lead in third place.

The striker made 29 competitive appearances for PSG this season, but only one of them over the full distance. Ekitiké scored four goals and three assists.
