Eintracht hero Hinteregger gets his own song from Schlager singer Ikke Hipgold

Since moving from FC Augsburg to Eintracht Frankfurt, Martin Hinteregger has been the crowd favorite in the Main metropolis. He has already received his own song “Hinti Army” from the fans, but now the Austrian could even storm the Mallorca charts.

“Eintracht Frankfurt won the Europa League and is now world champion! Martin Hinteregger didn’t play at all and was still the best man on the pitch! The district league legend and Ikke Hipgold made the best song of all time for Martin Hinteregger,” says in a statement by pop singer Ikke Hipgold on YouTube.

The “Hinteregger Song” appeared on the video platform on Wednesday at 12 noon sharp. (Click here for the video). The song lasts about two minutes and is a typical Schlager series of rhymes on the name Hinteregger, similar to the Cologne homage to Anthony Modeste. Ikke Hipgold was also responsible for this song.

In the video for “Hinteregger Song”, the Eintracht professional can be seen during the SGE’s Europa League party and other extravagant party evenings. It is well known that the 29-year-old central defender does not always lead an absolutely professional footballer existence.

Nevertheless, the Austrian national player has been one of the top performers at Eintracht for years. Hinteregger switched from FC Augsburg to Frankfurt for nine million euros in 2019 and has played 137 competitive games there since then (14 goals). After the departure of David Abraham, he is now the undisputed defense chief of Eintracht.

Hinteregger farewell to Eintracht probably off the table

Hinteregger missed last Wednesday’s Europa League final against Rangers from Glasgow with a hamstring injury sustained in the semi-final second leg against West Ham United.

After Eintracht’s European Cup triumph, rumors had spread that Hinteregger could leave Eintracht in the summer despite a contract until 2024. However, that is now extremely unlikely. As the picture reported that there was a conversation between coach Oliver Glasner and the central defender on Tuesday, in which it was agreed that Hinteregger would fulfill his contract.
