The move from Erling Haaland to Manchester City is apparently taking concrete shape. As the Daily Mail reports, the club has agreed on a contract with the Borussia Dortmund attacker.
According to information from the English newspaper, a financial package has been put in place that would make Haaland the highest-paid player in the Premier League with a weekly salary of more than £500,000. That would be almost 600,000 euros.
With the salary he would overtake Kevin De Bruyne, who is currently at £ 385,000 (almost 464,000 euros) a week at Man City.
Accordingly, ManCity pulls the exit clause of the 21-year-old attacker. The contract, which was negotiated for five years, should be fixed as early as next week. If the deal goes through, Haaland could make his debut as early as July on City’s trip to the USA.
At Borussia Dortmund, Haaland was recently given an undisclosed deadline to clarify his future.
