Maria KeaneFor coach Niko Kovac, VfL Wolfsburg is not without chances of success in the Bundesliga guest game on Sunday (live on DAZN from 5.30 p.m.) at leaders Bayern Munich. “We’ll get our chances, even if there won’t be too many,” said the 50-year-old, who worked for the German record champions as a player and coach.
According to Kovac, it is important to stick to the original match plan even if you are behind, because: “If you fall apart against FC Bayern, it will be hearty. But we have ideas to withstand the Bayern pressure.” The Lower Saxony have only been able to get two points in 25 appearances in Munich so far.
The North Germans have to do without Jonas Wind in the Allianz Arena. The Danish international is out with a hamstring problem.
