Maria KeaneEx-Bayern President Uli Hoeneß apparently invited the 25-year-old to his home for a conversation at Tegernsee after Leroy Sane’s recent mixed performance.
As Sport1 reports that Hoeneß Sane does not want to read the riot act, but instead calmly discuss the difficult situation the winger is currently in. Accordingly, the meeting should take place after the current international break.
Sane has struggled with some weaker performances recently. At the beginning of the season he was still regularly in the starting line-up under new coach Julian Nagelsmann, but last weekend he had to give way to youngster Jamal Musiala for the first time against Hertha BSC.
Even his own fans turned against him. In the Bundesliga game against 1. FC Köln and in the cup against Bremer SV there were whistles for the national player.
Sane and Hoeneß share a mutual respect. The 25-year-old was already a guest at Hoeneß – before signing his contract with the German record champions.
