FC Bayern will be heading back to the USA in July, for the seventh time after the last corona-related break on the “Audi Summer Tour”. The club announced this on Thursday evening. From July 18th to 24th, the German record champions will play two friendlies on site and will probably meet ex-coach Pep Guardiola.
First of all, the German record champions will move into quarters in Washington and play a friendly against DC United from Major League Soccer (MLS) on July 20th. Then it’s on to Green Bay, where to picture– Information in the second test match Guardiola and Manchester City should wait.
“We are very happy that our fans can experience this again after two years of the pandemic. It will be nice to feel the enthusiasm of the local people,” says Bavaria’s CEO Oliver Kahn, looking forward to the upcoming tour.
