The sponsorship contract between FC Bayern and shareholder Allianz is said to be extended by ten years to 2033. That reports the sports picture.
Accordingly, the volume of the deal should increase from eight million euros to 13 million euros annually. This means that Munich would collect 130 million euros from the insurance company over the next ten years.
How and whether the controversial partner Qatar Airways will continue is still completely unclear.
Even during Bayern’s training camp in Qatar, there were no talks about extending the expiring contract. Allegedly, Germany’s critical attitude towards the World Cup in Qatar should be one reason for this.
