FC Bayern Munich used a veto on Malik Tillman and ordered the striker, who was last loaned to Rangers to Glasgow, back to Munich. He reports that table football.
The Rangers had secured a purchase option for the loan: the Scots could have signed the 21-year-old for six million euros. However, there was also a right of veto for FC Bayern in the agreement – and according to the report, the German champions have now used it.
How things will continue is open. If Rangers make a better offer, Tillman could still stay in Scotland. Otherwise, FCB would be willing to lend Tillman again – or sell it to another bidder at a higher price.
Tillman scored ten goals and four assists in 28 league matches in the Premiership last season. In the Champions League he remained without a scorer point in five games.
