Bayern Munich are reportedly making an offer for Mathys Tel from Stade Rennes

After allegedly two rejected offers, FC Bayern Munich wants to try again to attract the French youngster Mathys Tel. As L’Equipe and sky report, there is already an agreement between Tel and his family on the one hand and FC Bayern on the other.

The 17-year-old is to move to Munich. But Tel’s current club Stade Rennes is apparently proving to be a stubborn negotiating partner. Offensive player Tel is still under contract with Rennes until 2024, two offers from Munich have already been rejected. According to reports, the most recent offer to date was 22 million euros.

Bayern would therefore have to put a not inconsiderable part of the transfer fee that the club received for Robert Lewandowski on the table at Rennes. According to reports, FC Barcelona will pay a fixed fee of 45 million euros for the Pole. However, the record champion is still on Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus Turin, for whom a transfer fee of more than 70 million euros will probably be due.

Tel is considered a great talent in his home country, but he has not yet been able to present himself permanently at the first division level. Rennes has made seven appearances in Ligue 1 without scoring.
