Sadio Mané has not only been a hoped-for reinforcement at FC Bayern.

At Bayern, those responsible hope, according to a report by the British Expressthat Chelsea will make an offer for Sadio Mané in the summer.

The Senegalese has had a mixed first season in Munich and, according to various media, could leave the club after this season.

Chelsea have invested heavily in the past two transfer periods under new owner Todd Boehly and are looking to sign another striker in the summer. It is doubtful whether left winger Mané fits into the profile.

Nevertheless, the hopes of Bayern bosses are not unfounded. The Portuguese transfer expert Pedro Almeida writes that there were initial talks between the clubs about Mané last weekend. According to him, the Londoners are currently the “favorites” when it comes to a possible transfer in the summer.

Mané moved from Liverpool to Bayern Munich in 2022 for a fee of 32 million euros. The 31-year-old has made 36 appearances there so far, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists. His contract on Säbener Straße runs until 2025.

Mané, who has made headlines in recent weeks with his fisticuffs against Leroy Sané, has also been traded as a newcomer to AS Roma in recent days.
