FC Bayern Munich: Talent Motika beckons professional contract

According to her own statement, Nemanja Motika is about to take the next step in her career at Bayern Munich. “I have great ambitions and a clear vision. I am aware that it will be good if I continue in this direction. I have also spoken to the people in the club, I should sign a professional contract,” said Motika in an interview with the Serbian portal Mozzart sport. He hopes that this will be officially carried out soon.

The offensive wing player, who was born in Berlin, moved from the youth team at Hertha BSC to the Bayern campus in 2017 and has since played in all of the German record champions’ youth teams. For the Munich regional league team, Motika scored 13 goals in 15 games this season and put on six more. This means that the 18-year-old is currently the top scorer at FC Bayern II.

In preparation, he was already used in the test match against Borussia Mönchengladbach for the professionals, and he also trains regularly with the team of coach Julian Nagelsmann on Säbener Straße. “I can already measure myself against players like Sane and Coman,” said Motika, who has the ambitious goal of “jeopardizing their places in the starting XI”.

FC Bayern: Holger Badstuber impressed by FCB defender

Former Bayern defender Holger Badstuber is particularly impressed by one of his successors in the back team of the record champions. “I like to watch Lucas Hernandez and hope that he can get his injuries under control and pull through for a longer period of time. He is the only left-footed central defender and has an aggressive style of play. He can give the team certain impulses,” said Badstuber at Sport1.

Hernandez ran on Thursday in the Nations League semi-final between France and Belgium (3-2) for the first time on the side of his brother Theo, who scored France’s winning goal shortly before the end. There were two brothers from the beginning in the Equipe Tricolore last 1974 in a friendly match against Romania.

Badstuber played for Bayern professionals for over 14 years. After his contract with VfB Stuttgart ended, the 32-year-old joined the Swiss first division club FC Luzern in the summer. But he still has his ex-club FC Bayern in view. “I’m excited to see who will perform in central defense when things get tight and the important games come,” said Badstuber.
