FC Bayern Munich “sexy” for stars

According to Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern Munich also has an irresistible attraction for top stars. “It’s sexy for the players to go into the future with this club and this coach,” said the sports director of the German record champions of the Bild newspaper.

Because of the transfers that have already been made and those that are still to be expected, Salihamidzic is optimistic about the coming season. “If you look at our squad, I think we’re well prepared and we can look forward to next season,” he said.

He is similarly optimistic about courting the defense chief Matthijs de Ligt (Juventus Turin). It was important to him to “sit down at a table” when meeting with the old lady’s managers: “I was there as a player for four years, I have a good relationship with the club. We had two conversations, now we have to be patient and see what happens.”

And even after a commitment from the Dutchman does not have to be the end of it.
