FC Bayern Munich – Thomas Müller on contract talks with FCB: “We will find a solution”

After the 3-0 win at Arminia Bielefeld, Thomas Müller commented on his future at FC Bayern and indicated that a decision for the record champions was in the offing.

“We are in good discussions and in a good exchange,” said Müller in the mixed zone of the Schüco Arena. “Both sides want and I think we will find a solution,” continued Müller, indicating that negotiations with the Bayern bosses are developing positively.

Thomas Müller’s contract expires in 2023, and there have been talks between the players and the Bayern bosses for a long time. Oliver Kahn also expressed himself in the double pass of sports1 regarding an extension of Müller positive.

Asked about the situation of team-mate Robert Lewandowski, Müller said he would “love to” continue playing with the Polish striker and revealed that he is committed to serving the team “despite his status as the world’s best striker”.

He spoke to Lewandowski about the contract situation, but had no insight into the status of the negotiations.
