FC Bayern – News: Nübel consultant reacts to statements by Salihamidzic
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic has caused a stir with recent statements about a possible further cooperation with goalkeeper Alexander Nübel, who is on loan to Monaco until 2023. Now his advisor Stefan Backs also commented on the matter.
Salihamidzic said in the sports picture: “FC Bayern is planning long-term with Alexander Nübel because we believe in his quality and want to position ourselves as a goalkeeper in the future.”
And further: “We can very well imagine extending his contract. We will coordinate all steps with Alex and his agent in close exchange and always look for and find the best solution for FC Bayern and Alex.”
That adviser welcomes these statements and told the Evening News: “Of course it’s nice to read statements like that. Since I’m in constant contact with Bayern, that doesn’t come as a surprise to me. The talks are transparent, so far the club has kept everything that was promised. In the end, it stands and falls everything with Alex’s performance – and it’s very good. There’s still an incredible amount of time until 2024.”
And Backs underlined: “Alex is in a very good position.”
FC Bayern – Rumor: Poker about Sadio Mane is dragging on
A possible summer transfer from Liverpool’s star striker Sadio Mane to FC Bayern is currently on everyone’s lips. But a change will probably not happen as quickly as it seems at the moment.
Again table football reports, FC Bayern assumes that the negotiations could go on for quite a while. The transfer fee in particular should be the sticking point. Several English media reports of Liverpool’s demands, which should start at least 50 million euros.
