FC Bayern – Nick Salihamidzic is moving to Vancouver

Maria KeaneNick Salihamidzic, son of Bayern Munich’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, is leaving the second team of the German record champions.
The 19-year-old will join MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps as second-choice on a one-and-a-half-year loan deal until the end of the 2023 season. He previously extended his contract with Bayern until 2025.
Salihamidzic came to Munich in 2015 at the age of twelve from SpVgg Unterhaching, whose shirt his father had worn as a professional. Last season, the defender made two appearances for Bayern II in the regional league and otherwise played for the U19s.
