Former CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge gave coach Julian Nagelsmann an overall positive testimony for his first season at Bayern Munich. However, Rummenigge also criticized it.

Rummenigge asked for patience in view of the fact that Nagelsmann “only” won the championship in his first year as FCB coach. “Sometimes FC Bayern isn’t just enough for the national title. You expect to at least reach the semi-finals in the Champions League. That was missed this year with the elimination against Villarreal. That was of course a disappointment.
