FC Bayern: Salary claim from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting apparently revealed

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is set to extend his contract with FC Bayern, which is due to expire in the summer. Players and clubs should generally agree on this.

Loud sports picture it gets stuck in two places. Will the striker continue to insist on a two-year contract, or will he accept Bayern Munich’s offer to only extend it until 2024?

Salary also plays an important role. The 33-year-old is currently expected to collect 3.5 million euros a year. According to the report, however, Choupo-Moting and his advisor Roger Wittmann are demanding a double-digit million amount.

If the contract extension with Choupo-Moting succeeds, the German record champions will see themselves loud sports picture well positioned with the Cameroonian international and youngster Mathys Tel. “Harry Kane or nothing” would be the motto for summer transfers. So either the big shot succeeds, or Bayern don’t sign another striker. The Englishman’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur expires in 2024, and the 29-year-old has been associated with FCB for months.

On the other hand, there is nothing to be said about the rumors of Munich’s alleged interest in Lautaro Martínez from Inter Milan and Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus Turin. Neither of the two names was therefore even discussed at Bayern.

FC Bayern: Randal Kolo Muani not an issue?

The recently traded Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently not an issue either. The Bayern bosses apparently see the 24-year-old as a good and fast player who knows how to hold the ball. However, he needs a lot of space for his game, which the opponents don’t give a Bayern attacker.

Therefore, and because the Frenchman is under contract in Frankfurt until 2027 and would therefore cost an enormous fee, Kolo Muani should not be up for debate. The reports about an offer from Bayern are also wrong.
