FC Bayern – Salihamidzic ledert against Lewandowski: “zero point zero understanding”

Bayern Munich’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic has once again criticized Robert Lewandowski’s behavior in months of poker for the transfer to FC Barcelona.

He has no understanding for that, “really zero point zero – and not just because I have of course fulfilled all my contracts as a player,” said Salihamidzic time magazine: “As a player, I would have clarified that internally and for myself and fulfilled my contract.”

The 45-year-old admitted mistakes in the contract negotiations with David Alaba, who moved to Real Madrid on a free transfer last year. The chief of defense was “offered a lot of money”.

But “from today’s perspective, it might not have been necessary to set a deadline for a player as deserving as David was,” said Salihamidzic.

He could still understand the position of FC Bayern to “demonstrate strength”, but: “I would try to solve the Alaba topic differently today. But that would not have meant that David would have stayed with us, because the financial ideas were very different.”
